Recently, we had the great privilege of hosting Tom Gurney for an internship. Under the supervision of one of our super cool techs (Tracy), Tom was able to experience working for a tech company while helping with a company-wide move, client work, and other technological support.
During his first few days on the job, Tom learned more about Windows 2012r2 migration, Mitchell database software, and some of the more physical aspects of the job like rewiring. During his first week, Tom was also able to attend a few offsite meetings, heading to clients’ offices to assist with issues like network speed and resolution issues.
Over the course of his 30-day internship, Tom really became a part of the Tech Help team. With the completion of his internship with us, Tom has officially graduated from the two-year CNET program at Bellingham Technical College. With a particular nod to Tracy for his excellent mentoring skills, we congratulate Tom and thank him for all he did for us!
Tom will likely still pop by the office to help out on an as needed basis, but we will miss seeing him every day!
Thank you, Tom!
